Air India is India's national airline, with its headquarters in New Delhi. After Air India Limited's former owner, the Government of India, completed the sale, it was purchased by Talace Private Limited, a Tata Sons Special-Purpose Vehicle (SPV). Air India has 102 domestic and international destinations served by a fleet of Airbus and Boeing aircraft. The airline's hub is at New Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport, with several focus cities throughout India. With an 18.6% market share, Air India is the largest international carrier operating out of India. Air India flies to over 60 international destinations on four continents. On July 11, 2014, the airline joined Star Alliance as the 27th member.
